Applying for Learner’s License in Gurgaon
Download the application form for a new driver’s license from the Gurgaon Transport Department’s official website. Visit a nearby RTO with your completed application form and all necessary supporting documentation (i.e., proof of identity, proof of residency, proof of age, and passport-size photographs).
Before visiting the RTO, you can reserve a time slot online and schedule an appointment. Bring the initial and photocopies of all your records to the RTO on the scheduled appointment date. All of your records will be checked by an RTO official. You will be able to take the LL test after all of your documents have been checked.
Around 20 questions about the laws and regulations of driving a motor vehicle will be on the LL written exam. The results will be available the same day after you submit your driving test. If you pass the exam, you can pick up a copy of your LL the same day.
If you do not pass the exam, you will have to reapply after a certain time. Please keep in mind that you will not be able to apply for a DL unless you have a valid LL.
Once issued you can check your driving license online.
