Kanyadaan plan is a plan that has been sold or marketed by LIC agents and officials as a assurance plan for the girl child. The plan assures that the policy holder receives the maturity amount or the nominees receives the maturity at the pre-fixed maturity time. The plan also provisions for the monthly expenses of the family in case the policy holder dies during the term of the policy. The official name of the plan is Jeevan Lakshya (plan table 833)
